Cigars — you either love ’em or hate ’em. Health considerations notwithstanding, millions of Americans smoke cigars with considerable pleasure. It’s been that way ever since Christopher Columbus brought smoking to Europe after visiting the island of Hispanola in the late 15th century, and the habit soon caught on in the U.S. colonies.
